Cougar News Update
August 31st- September 4th 2020
It's a great week to be a Campbell Cougar!
Thanks, for all you are doing to support your child and the entire Campbell school community by logging in everyday, engaging in instruction, and submitting assignments or learning packets on time.
We need your help with making sure every student, including your own child has an amazing classroom experience even if it is virtual. Here is how you can help us maintain a positive classroom environment where high levels of learning can take place.
1. While helping your child login - Please keep your microphone muted. ( we want to be sure students can focus on instruction and not background noise or foul language )
2. Remember, students are in class. Adults in your home should not be live on screen. This keeps our classroom safe and secure for everyone. (students will let you know when they need you for help)
3. Establish a small space /school zone, that has fewer distractions, where your child will work for the day ( kitchen table, clear space on the floor, desk, whatever works for your house. Having a dedicated space for your child to "do school" helps them focus.
Parents have the hard task of running the household and monitoring student learning. We know it can be frustrating. Keep calm, practice patience, and Keep it simple. We will continue to work together to problem solve issues that come up.
This weeks newsletter provides information about assessments this week, learning bundle pick-ups, and remote learning hotline information. Mark your calendar for the events listed below.
Have a great week Cougars!
