We hope you all had a great summer; we are excited to welcome our students back in just a couple weeks. We are working hard on getting the school, rooms, and staff ready for the kids return.

This newsletter will be the new weekly form of communication. This will have dates to remember, Oak View news, pictures of fun events and happenings, quick buttons for lunch menus, spirit wear, etc.

Be on the lookout for a school supply e-mail that is being sent on Tuesday, August 22nd.

We will be releasing your students' teacher for the school year in ParentVUE on Tuesday August 29th at 4:00pm. While in ParentVUE, please make sure we have your correct contact information. If you do not have a ParentVUE account, there is a PDF at the bottom of this newletter with instructions how to get one. All ParentVUE questions can be directed towards Parentvue@district279.org

Dear Outstanding Oak View families,

As our school year begins, I am filled with excitement, energy, and enthusiasm for a fabulous year at Oak View Elementary! I am elated to be back at Oak View serving as the interim Principal and proud Husky!

Summers in Minnesota are the best! I truly hope you had a chance to spend quality time with your family and friends and spend time doing what you enjoy most in the summer and are re-energized for another outstanding school year.

Parents, families, and school staff are` the “Keys to Success!” Together we “unlock” exciting opportunities for our students, build strong and lasting relationships with each other, and create a cohesive and safe environment for everyone. Our students will be actively engaged in learning activities that take them beyond where they imagined, believing they can do anything, and achieving so much more. At Oak View and across Osseo Area Schools, we act on our mission which is to inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.

As the school year progresses, more information will be available to you, so that you can support your child in their learning journey here at Oak View. We cannot do it without you!
