Family Needs Assessment Survey
To better understand how PUSD and our community partners can best serve our students, staff, families, and caregivers during the physical closure of our schools, PUSD is conducting a Family Needs Assessment Survey. We invite you to participate in a short 3 to 5 minute confidential survey.
Curbside Tech Support
On April 20th ITS began coordinating curbside appointment with both PUSD students and staff. These appointments will support device issues that can't be solved remotely, Chromebook checkouts, hotspot checkouts, and student exchanges for loaner devices. Please note that these appointments can only be scheduled after a Tech Ticket has been submitted.
We appreciate your patience, and we hope to speed up our service time with this new procedure in place.
PUSD Students
ITS is now providing direct support for PUSD managed devices and applications for students. Students can now submit their own support tickets by visiting gopusd.com/helpdesk while logged in to their PUSD accounts. Families can also reach the HelpDesk at 626-396-3699 in order to get real time support. Please visit the following URLs for support regarding other student needs:
If you are experiencing issues with Powerschool learning, please visit status.powerschool.com for updates.
Students that need support with lost or stolen devices, please submit tickets at gopusd.com/helpdesk.
Please continue to submit requests for Hotspots at gopusd.com/helpdesk. However, we are currently out of hotspots, but waiting to receive more. Hotspots will be checked out on a first come first serve basis based on tickets submitted.

Application Updates
Starting today, the Hapara Highlights extension has been removed for all 6th - 12th grade students. It will be removed for a week while we troubleshoot some issues that students are experiencing on their accounts. This only removes a teachers ability to use the Highlights feature, all other Hapara features can still be used. For more information about this please CLICK HERE
STEMscopes
Due to the number of trials and curriculum previews that are open to other districts, STEMscopes has had to turn off the ability to download videos from their program. Students will only be able to view the videos by logging into STEMscopes. A link from STEMscopes can be posted in PowerSchool to direct students to the correct page.
BrainPop
PUSD is partnering with BrainPop to provide free short-term access to their materials for the rest of the year. Teachers and students can log in and access the materials through Clever.
Nearpod
They are now offering office hours! To register, please click here. Below are the times/dates:

Skies
If you are using Skies with your students, please note the following setting change that will take place on Friday, April 24th.
- All PUSD Skies learning environments will be set to only allow PUSD user to join.
This change will help us keep student privacy, information, and online learning a safe space for all involved. Please keep in mind that you should still create a class code for each class you create. Should you have any questions, please reach out to Skies directly by emailing james@skieslearn.com
