Good Afternoon Chinooks!

I wanted to start by thanking those of you who were able to make it to our Family Breakfast for 3-5th grade. We had over 250 parents come to be part of the CRE community. It was so nice to watch students interacting with their family and the family of friends all while enjoying their waffles.

The focus of this week is our Parent Engagement Survey. We will be using your voice to help us better serve our students and your family as a whole. Each year we collect your surveys and create a plan based on our largest area of needed growth. In the spring, our staff came together and created two new actions to help bridge the gap with our lowest score.

Opportunity: I regularly receive feedback from school staff on how well my child is learning.

Action Plan:

1. Develop a parent contract to help parents understand what the expectations are for the child and provide information on where to look to stay informed- (Student/Parent Handbook Below)

2. Continue to send home red folders and parent communication about PowerSchool. (See video below for how to use PowerSchool)

This survey will close on Friday, October 21st. Our goal is to have at least 250 parent voice collected by that time. If we reach our goal, every student will receive a treat during their lunch! Please use the link below to participate.

Also happening at CRE:

~SOCKTOBER! Please continue to bring in your donations. We are so excited to witness our Chinooks giving so generously.
