Thursday, March 30th your child received a COVID-19 Test Kit to bring home with them so they can be tested before returning to school after Spring Break. Please test students on Sunday, April 9th, and upload positive test results only to this website: https://www.husd.us/testresults

The Homework Support Center at Lorin Eden strives to provide students with the additional support that they need to successfully complete and understand their homework.

The Homework Support Center is open Monday- Thursday.

Ignite is a virtual, one-to-one, tutoring program rooted in the science of reading. Ignite participants on average learn to read at double the expected rate of students. This year students from Lorin Eden were selected for the Ignite intervention based on current assessment data, teacher recommendation, and with a particular focus on serving our African American student population. Our selected student families will be receiving an introductory letter following our Spring Break with additional information.

Dear African American Families of Lorin Eden,

We need your input for allocating funds for our African American students. We are excited for the opportunities that will arise given these funds. Please join us for lunch via Zoom on Monday, April 17th. We will be reaching out to you by phone call with additional details.
