Hello Hopkinton Public Schools families - You are invited to this upcoming program on the evening of February 6th from 7-8:30 at Westborough High School library. It's never too early and this program targets parents/families (and coaches, troop leaders, teachers, etc.) of 4th graders and above. Starting conversations early is a helpful way to build resilience for you and the youth in your lives.
The program - Let’s Talk About It: Substance Use and Youth, with Dr Safdar Medina, will be an informative program that can help you support your kids as they navigate the topic with your kids. Here are the main points Dr. Medina will discuss and there will also be a Q&A and a chance to chat after the program with other parents.

*Understanding sources of influence, including media & social media
*Facts about the harmful effects on youth brain development
*Local youth substance use trends
*When to know there is a problem & where to get support
