8th-Grade Recognition

It won't be long before we wrap up the school year and honor our 8th-grade students for their time with us at Crook County Middle School. We look forward to our 8th Grade Recognition Night ceremony with mixed emotions, happy to see our students grow and become successful, but sad to see them leaving. This year’s ceremony is scheduled for June 15th, 6:00PM at the Stadium.

Dental Screenings Next Week

This is a friendly reminder that dental screenings will occur at CCMS next week on Tuesday, May 30th, and Wednesday, May 31st. This is only for students whose families gave consent at the beginning of the school year during student registration. If you did not consent, your child will not participate in the dental screenings. The screenings will take place in the small gym all day Tuesday during regular school hours and until about 1:30pm on Wednesday. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

Check out the new and updated CCMS Summer Series schedule. You can sign up by clicking the hyperlink above. Please choose one class per week. There are great new and popular options from years past. We will be capping classes, so get signed up quickly!

CCMS 2023/24 Elective Choices

Students should have returned their elective rankings for next year to the office. We take tremendous pride in the multitude of elective offerings at CCMS. We want to build skills, engage students in new experiences, and have fun in the process. We always do our best to create schedules based on a student's highest-ranking electives; however, there are certain electives that the ODE mandates. Additionally, some students may need supplemental support in reading or math through an intervention class. We will always do our best to provide choices that students rank higher while considering class capacity, availability and meeting the educational needs of each student.

Last Day of School!

We will have a half day on June 16th. Students will have a normal start time. Students will be dismissed at 12:15 for summer break. Busses leave CCMS at 12:30.

Do not bring backpacks. We will not be using lockers. Lockers will have been cleaned out on the 15th.
Make sure library books are turned in.
Phones will be allowed.
