December 23-January 2- No School, Winter Break
STUDENT SECTION
New: EVHS Virtual Food Drive
Eastview High School is holding a Virtual Food Drive through Friday, December 16th. We are collecting cash, checks (made out to 360 Communities) and gift cards.
The cash and checks will go to local food shelves so they can buy in bulk and also buy fresh fruit, veggies, dairy and bread products without fear of them spoiling. We want to help support the 30,000+ people in Dakota County who are food insecure and rely on our local food shelves!
The gift cards (from Cub, Target, Walmart, Hy-Vee, gas stations and local restaurants like Culvers, Subway, Jimmy Johns, etc.) will help us support our EVHS students and families meet weekend food needs and transportation costs.
Donations can be dropped off at the Attendance Office any day throughout the drive. Or, students can bring them to Advisory on Wednesday, December 14th. An additional option is to make an online donation through MyPaymentsPlus. Log in, go to your high school student and search for “Food Drive” in the search area. You can enter the amount you wish to donate. Donations of any amount will be accepted and appreciated!
The need in our community is great…but our generosity and collective power to make a difference can be even greater! Let’s come together and do our part to help our neighbors in need. #letsgive #virtualfooddrive
