Happy Retirement, Mrs. Volpe
We would like to wish Mrs. Volpe a very happy retirement!
She has been positively impacting the lives of our students since 1993, and we are grateful for all of her contributions! We miss her already!
Rockin' Wednesdays
Students and staff are encouraged to wear their ROCKS shirts on Wednesdays to represent the school and our school-wide expectations!
R.O.C.K.S. is a reminder for all of us to be Respectful, Organized, Cooperative, Kind, and Safe.
Hot Chocolate Day w/ Mrs. McHugh
Students in Mrs. McHugh's classes celebrated the completion of their argumentative essays with hot chocolate and treats! Yum!
Motion and Force w/ Mr. McCaulley
The students are participating in the Paper Ball Run Challenge. Their goal is to create a run that will take a ping pong ball as long as possible to go from start to finish. They are learning about the 3 Laws of Motion and Forces. Once their runs are complete, they will need to identify how and where the ping pong ball changes velocity as well as calculating the speed of the ping pong ball during the run.
Celebrating LinkIt! Growth w/ Ms. Mazzocchi
Students who made the most growth on the ELA LinkIt! benchmark were recognized in Ms. Mazzocchi's class! Way to go!
Body Biographies w/ Mrs. Sfroza
This project was a representation of how students could conduct an analysis of a notable character from the novel The Outsiders. Typically, students list Character Traits, but this body biography project allowed them to show their creativity and knowledge by applying traits from the characters perspective.

Parents, help our school and the Ronald McDonald House by having your reader visit our school's page and Register Now or Join Our Team to create their personal profile and join our roster. Then, invite friends and family to pledge any amount of money for every minute your child reads. Remind your reader to log their progress on their profile so their supporters know how much to donate.
A special thank you to Mrs. Sabatini-Gilbert and Mrs. Gregory for being the first to donate!
The Ronald McDonald House Supports Your Neighbors
Meet Vienna! Vienna is a 4-year-old girl from Levittown, PA who needed to be treated at the local hospital for a stem cell transplant. Her whole family spent 254 days at the Ronald McDonald while she was in the hospital. Vienna and her family were able to return to their home in Levittown just in time for her 5th birthday this week. Weโre so glad Vienna is doing much better and can celebrate her birthday at home with all her friends and family.
