Important Information

All SMCPS schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 19th in honor of President's Day.


Tuesday, February 20th will be a B Day.


The Maryland School Report Card provides information about our school's performance for the 2022-2023 school year. You can find a link to our school's SY23 report card by visiting the Quick Links on our school's website. In addition, you can view the January 11 presentation to the Board of Education about system-wide data or visit www.smcps.org/about-us for additional information.

After-school Activities

Monday - None

Tuesday -James...Jr. (James, Insects, Spiker & Sponge), Basketball Intramural, Chess Intramural, Strength and Conditioning, and Symphonic Band - Only Woodwinds

Wednesday - James... Jr. (Spiker and Sponge), Symphonic Band, Math Counts, and Volleyball

Thursday - James... Jr. (All Cast), Basketball, Strength and Conditioning, Chess, Robotics, Jazz Band, and Civil Air Patrol

Friday - None

Upcoming Events

There will be no school for students on Friday, March 1st as it is a Professional Day for staff.


All students will participate in the Maryland School Survey during their ELA class on March 7th. Please see the letter below for more information.

New for 2022, families have the option to pay for lost or damaged resources in My School Bucks. Resources include library books, laptops, chargers, textbooks, consumables, etc.
