The Bear Bulletin
December 2023
A Message from Principal Robertson
Dear Families,
I hope this letter finds you all healthy and doing well. Our second marking period is well under way and we are in the homestretch of the year 2023.
This month, we say farewell to our staff development teacher, Ms. Nora Nasser. She is retiring effective January 1st. Ms. Nasser has led our school improvement work here at Barnsley and most recently she has stepped in to support one of our fourth grade classes. She will be missed and we wish her all the best in her new adventure. Her position will be posted in the spring and filled for the FY25 school year.
This month we are looking forward to some exciting events including our Scholastic Winter Book Fair (December 12th-16th) and our annual Winter Break Spirit Week. Keep scrolling for more information about these two events.
December is a time for many family celebrations and holidays. I hope you all have a joyous and special holiday season with plenty of time to relax and enjoy family and friendships.
Please stay safe and healthy and remember- We are a school family and Barnsley Bears C.A.R.E.!
Sincerely,
Ms. Robertson
