I am happy to be back at school to see all of the smiling faces. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. I am recovering nicely and am back part time for now. Mrs. Farias has been doing an amazing job in my absence. It was wonderful seeing everyone at the Hispanic Heritage Festival last Saturday night...what talent!! Thanks to all who made that evening possible. I hope to see everyone at tomorrow's Veterans' Day celebration at 2 pm in the school auditorium.

If you have not made a donation to our Annual Fund, we really need you. Please consider a donation in the amount that is appropriate for your family's circumstance. We need everyone to pitch in so that we can make our goal. Currently, we only have 11% of families participating and this will not allow us to make our goal. This raises money for teacher salaries, curriculum materials, and other valuable items in our annual budget. We need your help. Please support our Annual Fund Appeal. We have a lofty goal of raising $146,000. These funds are so important to our school as they fund new curriculum and materials, teacher's salaries, along with trying to raise funds for new playground equipment. We are hoping for 100% family and staff participation. Our current participation rate is only 11% to date, and the fund has only raised $26,000.
