Middle School Robohawks
Congratulations to all of our middle school RoboHawks on their many accomplishments already this season in the first few Robotics Competitions this season:
Team E-"Egg"won were the Tournament Champions in the recent Downey Tournament
Team D-"Amirite" crushed it in the skills competition giving them the 15th highest score in the world out of more than 4,900 teams!
IN a previous tournament:
VRC Team D “Amirite” took home the Excellence Award & Tournament Champions
VRC Team C “Celestial” took home the Design Award
IQ Team D “Golden Wave” took home the Excellence Award
IQ Team A “A Plus” took home the Design Award
IQ Team B “The Minions” took home the Amaze Award
Congrats to Coach Kim and the Robohawks on these outstanding feats!

Family STEAM Night (K-8) on 11/28!
Family STEAM Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Still space!!
Join us for K-8 Family STEAM Night on Tuesday, 11/28, 5-7:30pm at Orchard Hills School. Families can enjoy fun activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math throughout the evening. Due to limited capacity, RSVP is required.
A SkyDome Planetarium will take your family on a journey through the universe, identifying planets, constellations, and learning about Greek mythology. DrumPerks will teach your family about drumming from different cultures around the world and core values/leadership skills. There will also be hands-on STEAM stations for families to enjoy and OH Parents who will speak to students about their STEAM careers. Pizza dinner will be available for purchase.
***RSVP is required for SkyDome and DrumPerks. Please only sign up if your family will attend. Time slots will close once capacity is reached. RSVP here.

Special PTO Hosted Family Dance Event
The OH PTO is excited to host our first Family Winter Dance this December! The dance will be held on Friday, December 15th from 6-8pm at the school gym. All grade levels are welcome to join with their families! Come dance the night away in your best white attire as we glow up the night in winter white! There will be a live DJ, photobooth and In-N-Out truck for those who want to purchase meals. Parent attendance is required and families must RSVP to attend.
