Quarter 3 = Only 2 weeks left
With only 2 weeks left in the quarter, above is our Quarter 3 final exam schedule. Below is a link to a video explanation I did on Friday - it gets a little trickier with having students both In-Person and Remote.
On Friday, finals will be complete for in-person and remote students at 11:15am (unless they have a Zero Hour Class - please check with the teacher for your final exam time).
- For In-Person students who either provide their own transportation or who will be picked up early, parents will be emailed a form to give permission for their students to leave early.
**Parents of In-Person Students watch for this email today** - Students who need to ride the bus or don't have access to early transportation will be able to stay at school until the regular dismissal time of 2:45.
Thinking of making a change in Instructional Models?
- Remote -> In-Person: We've heard from some families that are currently learning remotely they are planning to have their students return In-Person after Spring Break. Please call the front office or reply to this email if your student plans to return in-person starting March 15.
- In-Person -> Remote: If you had originally chosen for your student to attend in-person, but have gone back to attending remotely, I will also be sending an email for you to reply to in order to change.
- Teachers will be looking at these numbers heading into 4th Quarter to make sure that they have the appropriate numbers of desks in their classes to accommodate students attending in-person.
Student COVID Testing Option:
- Today you should have received an email about an option for students who develop possible COVID symptoms while at school to be tested here if our school nurse is available.
- Please be sure to read the email and watch for the permission email to accept or decline this option later today.
It's hard to believe we are almost at the one-year mark of when schools initially closed last spring, thank you all for your patience and support as we continue to reshape what our education system can do!
Take care,
Sarah Gillam
