Principal's Message
Dear Trojan Families,
I hope this message finds you well and that you're enjoying a wonderful weekend with your families. I want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of communication and expectations, both at school and at home.
Communication is a powerful tool that plays a crucial role in building community and forming strong relationships. At Northwestern, we are committed to communicating effectively with our families, and we value transparency as we work together to provide the best possible education for your child.
At the beginning of the school year, we spoke with our students about the concept of "order." Our order at Northwestern is simple but essential: Adults are the authority, and students are the subordinates. As responsible adults entrusted with the care and education of your children, we will use our authority with respect and empathy in all our interactions with students.
When students interact with adults, we have set clear expectations for their behavior. We kindly ask that they:
1. Remain calm
2. Listen
3. Follow instructions
These expectations serve as the foundation for a positive and productive learning environment at Northwestern.
We believe that consistency is key, and it is in this spirit that we request your support. By doing so, we can reinforce the values and principles we are teaching on campus, and your child will experience a more seamless transition between school and home life.
As you spend time together as a family this weekend, please take a moment to reiterate these points with your child. This shared commitment will help us maintain a strong partnership between the school and your family, creating an environment where your child can thrive and grow.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child's education. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to working together to make this academic year a successful one for your child.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend and a great week ahead.
Sincerely,
Michael Abraham
Principal

School Board Meeting
Next Meeting: Tuesday, November 14th at 6 PM at the District Office
We had a great time here in the Media Center yesterday morning! Friends from York County Public Library, Krista Howell & Abbie Townson, came to help the students make some really fun buttons. I love that the students choose to design their own - which many did - AND choose from pre-designed ones we already had for them! Mornings are fun at Northwestern High School Media Center! Stay tuned for our next fun activity - what will it be?
