Bear News! Last one of the Year!
May 26th.
Message from the office.
Hello BCE Community
I can't believe this is the last newsletter of the year. It has been such a wonderful year. We have had so many ups and downs. I want to thank the BCE community for allowing me to support your students this year. I have truly enjoyed my first year at BCE and can't wait till next year.
We had a wonderful last 5th grade vs. staff kickball game today. The staff took the win but it was so great to run around the bases with the kids and another great way to send them off to middle school next week.
Each student will receive a summer learning book next week. We are hoping to keep the learning going through the summer and hope you will take 10-15 minutes 4 days a week to work in the workbook. If your student is currently using Lexia, or if you would like to use Lexia over the summer, please let us know. All accounts will be open, and a great way to keep the learning going.
We also hope that your students read daily. Summer learning loss is always challenging, so these are just ways to keep up with the skills. Below you'll also find several links and resources for summer learning.
The summer learning book has a roadmap in the front. All students who return the roadmap completed in August can participate in a special event they will not want to miss.
Please remember to complete the online registration for next year. Every student needs to have it complete for them to continue next year. If you have any questions, please call the office.
Next week is a very busy week at BCE. Please make sure you see the calendar below and make sure you wear clothes you can have fun in and maybe get wet in for field day :) We are hoping for good weather.
Please check out the last day of school release times below. Wednesday, 5/31, the release is at 1:15.
The office will be closing for the summer on June 8th. We will re-open again on July 31st. We hope you have a wonderful summer. The district office will be open Monday-Thursday throughout the summer if you have any questions or needs while we are away.
Have a great 3 weekend, everyone, and have a wonderful, safe summer.
