August is Purple Heart Month, a special time to acknowledge the brave men and women who were wounded or gave their lives while protecting our country. Even as we all gear up for the new school year, let's not forget to take a moment to think about those who've made our freedoms possible. Join the Jaguars team as we pay tribute to those who've received the Purple Heart, honoring their courage and sacrifice.

All vehicles used for parent drop-off will enter and exit from W Rock Quarry Road, located at the back of the campus near the baseball and softball fields. The parent drop-off will adhere to the blue pattern, and students can be dropped off at the lower attendance office entrance starting at 6:20 AM. They may then proceed to the Commons, where supervision will be provided. The car rider line tends to start backing up around 6:50 AM.

Remember, students are not allowed to exit parent cars in the student parking lot. Make sure to follow the designated drop-off procedures to ensure a smooth and safe start to the school day.

***Football players will proceed through the parent drop-off line at 6:40 AM and exit car in front of the stadium.

It provides teachers with accurate, actionable evidence to help inform instructional strategies regardless of how far students are above or below grade level.

SKG PTSA is excited to kick off our 2nd year! We had 82 PTSA members for our inaugural year. We would LOVE to double that number this year. Please join PTSA today. Membership dues are only $10. Sign your student up, too! We are working on student incentives, and scholarship opportunities are available for SKG PTSA Seniors.

Tutor.com is available for GCPS students at no charge. In partnership with GCPS, Gwinnett County Public Library provides access to Tutor.com to assist students in learning remotely. The Tutor.com Learning Suite combines online tutoring, homework help, and test preparation with powerful diagnostic tools and self-study resources to provide a well-balanced and flexible educational environment designed to meet the individual needs of all learners. Get one-on-one tutoring in any math, science, social studies, and English subject. Tutor.com covers 40 subjects, including AP courses. Students can get one-on-one online tutoring in any Math, Science, Social Studies, and English subject. In addition, students can receive “drop-off support” 24-7 by uploading a document or a math problem for tutor feedback that will be reviewed and returned later. • Only Seckinger HS students and opposing HS students will be permitted in games without a parent. High School IDs will be checked.
