Welcome to a new week of growth and opportunities! Thanks for being apart of our village as we continue to motivate, inspire, and educate all students to be college and career ready. We are the Lions, and we'll have it no other way!!!!!!
School Announcements
1. School Improvement Council
Please join our School Improvement Council. We will host our first meeting Friday, Oct. 7th (rescheduled from last week). 10:00am (Location: Lemira Elementary)
2. Auditions for Percussion Ensemble will be Wed. (Oct. 5th) 2:45pm - 3:45pm. Mr. Moore will send out forms for approval to stay for auditions.
3. We will celebrate National School Lunch week with a special luncheon for our parents on Oct. 10th and Oct. 11th. Flyers will be sent home with the specified grade level's day, lunch time, and logistics. Please reserve by returning your form to your learner's blue communication folder.
4. We will host our Parent University on Tues, Oct. 11th (6:00 - 7:30pm). Sessions for all parents of students in grade levels (PreK - 5th) will be held. There will also be a special session for parents of students in grade 3 as it relates to the state's "Third Grade Retention Law". Our partners, South Carolina State University and Kelley's Services will also be hosting sessions.
5. Revised Date for Book Fair: Oct. 10th - 14th. The Book fair will be opened during school hours and during our parent university workshop.
6. Oct. 13 - 1/2 Day for students (District PD Day for staff) and Oct. 14 No School for students (District In-Service Day)
7.Upcoming Awards Day for Quarter 1: We are inviting our parents to join us for our first quarter Awards Program.
