Did you know... ππβ€οΈπ§‘ππππ
Last year we began the "Buck and a Nickel" program so that through a payroll deduction of $1.05 per paycheck, another child could be supported for registration in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. To date, thanks to those contributions and a few community sponsors, our future students have been mailed 5319 books! Anderson Five employees are the largest contributors to the program so THANK YOU! You are making a difference in the lives of our students.
If you would like to join in the contributions, or increase the amount of your payroll deduction, either click on the picture of the form above to print out a paper sign-up or click on the button below to fill out a Google Form.

Sometimes grants are awarded quickly and sometimes patience is a virtue and the wait time seems forever. Congratulations to Lindsay Morgan (Homeland Park) and Erica Wells (Whitehall) for their patience to find out the grants they wrote in May were finally awarded in December. We can't wait to see all the fun musicπΆπΉ that is made with the $10,000 they were each awarded!
The wait wasn't quite as long, but Dottie Martin (New Prospect), Marianne Norris (Centerville), and Candy Cannon (Westside High) also wrote successful grants π² for $2500 in South Carolina Arts Commission grants. If you are an Arts teacher who hasn't applied yet for this one, there is still time! Deadline is March 1st for projects that will be completed this school year and the link is below.
