We will provide a safe and engaging environment every day so that all students will acquire lifelong learning skills that will enable them to be productive and successful citizens today, tomorrow and always!

Thank you to the families that have already donated items for the Basket Brigade. We are happy to be able to help many families in the upcoming holiday season. This Thursday, November 9, will be the last day that we will be accepting donations for this drive.

On November 10, our office will be closed and there will be no school as we observe Veterans Day. On this Veterans Day, we would like to send a message to our families with members in the military. To all those who have served, and those who continue to serve… Happy Veterans Day! To those in uniform serving today and to those who have served in the past, we honor you today and every day. To all who have put their lives on the line in defense of our nation, thank you.

Morning Mile will be starting Monday, November 13th through February 29th. Each grade level will attend on separate days:

Sixth- Monday

Fifth- Tuesday

Fourth- Wednesday

Third- Thursday

We will run on the Central track from 7:20-7:40. . If your child is interested they should ask Mrs. Bobleter for a permission form. The first 25 students in each grade level to return a signed permission form will be accepted.

We are off to a great start as we are preparing for science fair experiments to begin!

Our next due date will be November 16th for the hypothesis, materials, and procedures. Please make sure that your child is recording all items in their science fair log. This should be traveling to and from school as they work on their projects.

Please be sure they are dating their daily log with each activity.

Once the hypothesis, materials, and procedures are checked, students are welcome to begin experimenting. The next log check will be Dec. 1, and data will not be checked until Jan. 11th.

We are still holding our Holiday Food Drive to collect food to support the Space Coast Basket Brigade!

On November 18th, volunteers will be creating over 3,500 holiday baskets at Viera High school. This organization benefits families across Brevard County.

Here is the list of specific items they are looking to have donated:

Meadowlane Intermediate will have a competition for the class with the MOST donations. Student or teachers can bring their donations to Ms. Richey's office. The class with the most items donated will earn a donut party! 🍩

Please have all donations turned in by November 9th.
