Shine On!
60 Years of Strength and Brilliance
A message from Ms. Gonzalez
Hello Roadrunner Families,
I hope this email finds everyone well. As we enter the final month of the school year, I am excited to share with you the latest updates and important reminders. We have a packed schedule of events planned for the remainder of the school year, including end-of-year assessments, field trips, and celebratory ceremonies. Stay connected for specific details from your child's teacher, ClassDojo, PeachJar, and our social media pages.
While we have numerous celebrations planned, it's important to remember that academics remain our focus. Please help encourage your child to stay focused and engaged in their studies as we approach the end of the year. Our teachers plan for engaging academic instruction through the end of the year. Good student attendance is important through the last day of school. Reach out to your child's teacher for any support or guidance needed to ensure a successful finish.
As we anticipate the summer break, I encourage you to keep students' minds stimulated and involved. To support this endeavor, mark your calendars for May 13th, when we will host two "Summer Thrive Parent Engagement" presentations. These sessions will offer valuable parent resources to equip your family for ongoing learning during the summer months, helping to prevent any decline in academic progress.
Your feedback is invaluable to us. Please take a moment to share your thoughts and suggestions by completing the district survey. Your input helps us continually improve.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for entrusting us with your child's education. It has been a privilege to work with you and your family this school year. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we will make this final month a memorable and successful conclusion to the school year.
Kindly,
Ms. González 💙💛
