Policy Seminar
Harmony Williams took three TRiO FESP Participants to attend the 2018 Annual Policy Seminar in Washington D.C. March 11th through March 15th. Participants advocated to Congress to support TRiO Programs nationwide and to increase the TRIO budget for the upcoming school year as well as amendments needed to the PROSPER act! TRiO programs are important to numerous of students and we will need continued support. Student Leadership Summit
On March 2nd and 3rd, three TRiO FESP participants attended the Student Leadership Summit in Battle Creek, MI. This is a leadership seminar for high school and college students alike through TRiO programs across the state. Participants had an opportunity to attend workshops on how to build on their leadership, professional skills, as well as conducted workshops on topics such as proper etiquette and public speaking.

Education Career Fair
- The 30th Annual Education Career Fair is held on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Bernhard Center's East Ballroom on WMU's Main Campus in Kalamazoo.
