New York Times Publishes New Research on Pandemic Learning Loss
According to new research from Stanford and Harvard Universities, District 153 is on track to recover pandemic learning losses in math. The research database, published today in the New York Times, shows district math scores dramatically rebounding last year to pre-pandemic levels.
"There is still much work to do to come back from the pandemic, but these results clearly show that the hard work of our staff, combined with the support of our families, is moving our students in the right direction," said District 153 Superintendent Dr. Scott McAlister.
