MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS / TRANSPORTATION

  • The Finley-Oates Roofing Project is complete. The roof coating was applied on the r-panel and the liner was installed on the semi-flat roof. The final inspection from the warranty portion of Duralast will occur in the next few weeks.


  • The Finley-Oates Flooring Project has started and they are moving quickly throughout the building.


  • The grass, clover, and weeds are growing so our grounds guys are staying busy with mowing, edging, trimming, and spraying.

  • Our guys have assisted the Sign Depot with installing the LCD signage at Bailey Inglish.


  • The LED lights for the tennis courts are installed.


  • The sidewalk at BHS has been extended to remedy some erosion issues. As this concrete was being poured our guys repaired the bad spot in Nolan Ashmore Way.

TECHNOLOGY

  • The new copiers have been installed, Daniel is finishing up the programming of the software with the vendor, and implementing new features.

  • The Tech Department have delivered and setup all the new desktops for the secretaries and receptionists throughout the district.


  • A Virtual Camera Server has been installed and in process of being setup with the demo licensing for all the campus cameras to see if this will meet our needs for surveillance, storage, and retrieval. The new video storage array arrived, has been setup, and is currently saving camera data.


  • Our team added cellular boosters for BHS North/South Pods and the Storm Shelter.


  • 100 new Chromebooks have been setup for the LH Rather campus. Throughout the district, other student Chromebooks are being repaired based on damage the librarians discovered while checking each cart at the end of the school year.
