We're updating assessing letters & sounds this week as well as phonological assessments for progress reports next week! I'm thinking Goal Folders will be ready the week after Thanksgiving break.

We created our own snack using ingredients from our garden!
Superkids- Alf
We learned about Alf and we focused on the long sound and short sound within the letter 'a' and how it can make the word sound different in the beginning of the word, the middle and the end of a word.
This week, we also used scissors and glue for various lessons- they did a great with fine motor control! I was really impressed.
Happy STEM day! (Wednesday)
We took a day to celebrate STEM day with marble run and empty boxes! Some created a transporting device with a empty box, and others created a robot!
On Monday, we began the week with a read aloud of Veterans Day with Mrs. Smith. On Friday, Mr. Calderwood shared what his division does to help the community as an Army Commander. We got to explore the big Truck- that was a lot of fun! (Not everyone wanted to because of the physical size of it- it was intimidating for some).
