Our Husky Pups just finished their second trimester of the year! They are working so hard and making great gains academically. Families should look for report cards to be coming home in backpacks on Monday 3/21/22.

MES Beginning Band Information for 4th & 5th Graders

Beginning band classes begin this week, and will run through the end of May. We meet every Monday and Tuesday, from 3:05-4:00pm in the high school band room. Students may choose to walk, get a ride with a parent, or jump on the school bus.

Late to School

We have a few children who have been late to school repeatedly. Please remember that the State of California requires that children receive a number of predetermined minutes of instruction. Tardiness can create a problem for the student and disrupts the classroom instruction. Let's see if we can get all students to school on time this week!

Attendance Hotline

Please call our attendance hotline to report your child’s absence @ 760-934-7162. If your child’s absence is not reported, it is considered unexcused.

Ski and Snowboard Information

We have just two weeks left of our amazing ski and snowboard program. Thank you so much to all families, students and staff who work hard to make this program happen. We could not do it without the assistance of Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Mammoth Mountain Ski School, Mammoth Mountain Race Department and Tamarack Ski Center. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to MES PTO and Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation for their monetary support. Ms. Hund, Ms. Jefferson and Ms. Quirsfeld have done an amazing job coordinating this year as well!

Mono County Little League

Mono County Little League 2022 Registration is open now through March 22, 2022. Please see attached flyers for information. Little League Baseball is open to all players age 4-15 who live in Mono County.

MES PTO is gearing up for a big spring, from a school picnic to our Spring Auction, and we need volunteers! Whether you only have time for a small commitment or want to be on a planning committee, every volunteer makes a difference.
