Safety Tip: Dealing with cyber-bullying
There is NO distinction between online and offline activities regarding school behavior and the assignment of disciplinary consequences.
Rules for behavior set by the district and school cover both physical and digital actions by students and interactions among students.
These rules apply to use of district and personal devices both ON and OFF campus.
Important Dates
February 16 - Minimum Day, (End of Grading)
February 19 - President's Day (No School)
February 21 - NO after school TUTORIAL - quarterly staff meeting (morning tutorial as scheduled)
February 28 - Minimum Day, (WASC Staffing)
March 1 - PACK Day (Parent Shadow Day)

Pro Tip: Have your student email the tutorial teacher and parent stating that they attended tutorial. The tutorial teacher can respond to you and the student is held accountable. 😃
U.S. Navy ROTC Program Career Visit
SDSU Field Trip
The Counseling Department is hosting a field trip to San Diego State University on March 20th. Students will receive a tour of the campus and learn more about the University. Sign up in the Counseling office ASAP if you are interested in attending!
Beyond High School: Planning Your Future Workshop - Feb 22
It’s never too early to start planning for your future.
Join us at our Beyond High School: Planning Your Future Workshop on Thursday, February 22nd at 7:15 AM in the College and Career Center L-1. Students will learn how to develop a plan after high school, identify priorities, and research options. Sign up in the counseling office today!
Cuyamaca College Center for Water Studies Career Visit - Feb 22
Have a passion for water conservation or interested in a career in water treatment and maintenance? A representative from the Padre Dam Water District and Cuyamaca College Water Studies program will be at West Hills on February 22nd at lunch in our College and Career Center/L-1. Sign up in the Counseling office to learn more about a career in water.

Loss of Privilege Policy
Loss of Privilege (LOP) List: We want students to put “Academics First” by prioritizing attendance and following school rules. Students may earn their way off of the LOP list through attendance at detention and / or Saturday school after talking with their Assistant Principal.
