Great Relationships Produce Great Students
NDSA Testing April 18th & 19th, 2023
Hello, this is Brad Franklin, principal at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School.
This week, on Tuesday, April 18th and Wednesday April 19th, CBE students will take the North Dakota State Assessments for Reading and Math, also known as NDSA testing. This is a computerized assessment that allows administration, teachers, and parents to make informed decisions to promote students’ academic growth. Eighth graders will be taking their Science portion of the NDSA test on April 27th and 28th in their Science class as well.
If you do not want your students to participate in state testing, parents must fill out an opt-out form per test. These forms can be found on the FPS site.
Students need to have their PLDs, chargers and headphones or earbuds for the tests. Please encourage your student to get a good night’s rest, eat a nutritional breakfast at home or school, and remind students to put forth their greatest effort.
Thank you!
