MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Happy First Day of Summer Findley Families,
We hope this message finds you off and enjoying this official HOT first day of summer.
I wanted to share a couple of changes for the Fall with you, before leaving for some R&R. First change to share is regarding school supplies. We will not be going through EPI next school year. Rather, families will have two options for purchasing school supplies:
Option #1: Pay $40 to Findley for school supplies. We ask that if you select
this option, you do purchase headphones and a pencil box for your child(ren). We will be taking payments via ParentVue, or in person on Packet Pick-Up Day (Wednesday, September 1).
Option #2: Use the lists on our website to purchase your own supplies.
Whichever you decide, we are here to help. Feel free to give our office a call with questions or for clarification.
The second thing I wanted to share with you is that we will be changing our format for Back to School Night next Fall. Rather than hold two events, one for K-2 and one for 3-5, we will hold one event, 1st-5th, with two sessions (kindergarten will be separate). Additionally, we will be referring to Back to School Night as Findley Community Engagement Night. Community Engagement night will be September 9, 2021. Details and specifics to come.
Over the summer, we will be open once a week for 4 hours throughout the summer months. Summer office hours are posted on our school website. Our office opens back up daily, 8:00-4:00, August 16, 2021.
Have a safe and restful summer,
Sherry Marsh, Ed.D.
