Picture Day - K-8 and 9-12

9-12 Thursday, September 9th 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Order forms will be sent home the week prior. If your student does not normally attend on picture day, please make arrangements for them to come by within the window.

Labor Day

Labor Day is this Monday, September 2nd. Both campuses as well as the entire district will be closed.

REMINDER: Yoga Mondays and Wednesdays

Just a reminder that we are offering yoga! Yoga helps to lower stress, increase your focus, and help improve your flexibility both physically and mentally. Come try it out on Monday and Wednesday from 12p-1p. Hope to see you there!!

Dr. Franklin Visiting Tustin Connect

We are excited to welcome Dr. Franklin, our Superintendent, to Tustin Connect. He’ll be here to visit our sites and see the amazing work being done by our students in our classrooms.

K-8 Dismissal

Dismissal at the K-8: We have been reevaluating our dismissal procedures as we settle in to the new year and changes in staff and site resources. Along those lines, we are looking to modify dismissal/pick up. Moving forward, students will wait behind the push gate until a teacher or staff member makes eye contact with a parent. At that time, we will release the student to that person. The goal is to minimize student traffic in and around the parking lot during pick up. Also, please remember to pick your child up at 12:30 each day they are in school. If an emergency arises, please contact the office.

Volunteers Needed!!!! School Site Council

We have two wonderful volunteers for our School Site Council and are looking for three more volunteers to round out our School Site Council. Please consider volunteering to serve on the council. It's literally four times a year for an hour or so. The first meeting will be the longest of the year at about 1.5 hours. The rest are an hour or less. Please email Mr. Fineberg (efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us) if you are interested.

Tustin Families Getting Connected

PSAT Exam

TUSD is paying for all 11th graders to take the PSAT. Students need only to sign up using the link tinyurl.com/TCHSPSAT19-20. For $21, 9th and 10th graders can take it as well. 9th and 10th graders that choose to take the exam need to pay $21 via check payable to TUSD in the office. All TC students will take the exam at THS. Let Mr. Fineberg or Mrs. Erickson know if you have any questions or concerns.
