A Note From Principal Jeff Brandt
Hello DHS Families!
October is a very busy time. There are numerous professional development activities for staff and administrators. Most students have settled into the routine of the new school year. And Fall activities are in full swing.
October 2023 brings the opportunity for the Dickinson Community to vote in a bond referendum for updates to DHS, as well as safety and security updates at our elementary schools. I want to encourage our community to visit with individuals on the DPS referendum committee to get the facts on what a yes-vote means and what a no-vote could mean for the school district.
There will be a public forum on October 17th at 5:30 pm in the DHS Auditorium that I hope you will consider attending. Please be sure to vote on Tuesday, October 24th. Polling locations will be at Heart River Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Prairie Rose Elementary, and Lincoln Elementary. For our families that reside in Dunn County, the Dunn County Courthouse will also be a polling location.
Thank you for your continued support of DHS and Dickinson Public Schools!
Jeff Brandt
Principal, DHS
