Weekly Update for Oct. 30- Nov. 3rd
Weekly Update for Truscott Elementary-Dual Language School
From Mrs. Hanford
As we move into November we are noticing a quick change in the weather. Please send your child to school with a coat, gloves and a hat (boots when there is snow on the ground). As long as the temperature is 15 degrees or higher including wind chill, our students will be going outside. In order to play on areas of the playground that have not been plowed, we require boots so that students feet will be dry for the rest of the school day. Please label all items of clothing, to help us find the owner when it is lost. If you do not have any of the items listed above, please do not hesistate to reach out to our front office.
Enjoy your weekend!

A note from our Librarian
All students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities and make smart choices online and in life. Over the next few weeks in Media, we will be exploring fun characters that will teach our students about the 6 main points of being a Digital Citizen to be safe, kind and cautious online, and just how much time we should be spending online all together!
Make-up Picture Day
Families who did not order before the deadline will receive a proof from the picture from October 2nd and then you can go online and purchase photos from that proof. If you don't like the photo from the proof, you can have your child participate in retake day and order photos from that photo.
Please send a water bottle and backpack with your student everyday
