If Your Child is Late to School...
School begins at 9:05 am for AM kindergarten and 1st through 5th grade students. PM kindergarten begins at 12:50 pm. If your child arrives at school at 9:05 or later (12:50 or later for PM kindergarten), the individual dropping them off needs to come into the school office to sign them in. This practice is in place at all D25 schools.

Science Club
Science Club is back, with new projects and old favorites. Science Club meets on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:45 as before, but we’ll be in the “window” hallway outside the LMC rather than Room 110.
Session 1: Microscopes & Models of the Very Small (molecular models) (2nd through 5th grade students)
Participants will have the opportunity to take our new Foldscope microscopes home for a week. Images taken with them can be sent to Mrs. House to be posted on the Science Club website. (Scienceclubatoms.weebly.com) AAEC Credit Union has generously donated two sets of Happy Atoms to our collection of model sets.
Session 2: Models of the Very Large (bridge building) (2nd through 5th grade students)
We’ll build and break models of bridges. Whose bridge will hold the most weight?
Session 3: Magnets and Magnetism (1st through 5th grade students)
Thanks to the Cassidy family we now have plenty of magnets for everyone.
There is no charge for Science Club; however, you must register. Many session sizes are limited to 24 students, with spaces filled on a first come, first served basis. Sessions may fill up quickly so don’t delay. Complete the REGISTRATION FORM and return it to the OMS office – OR – scan/photograph the completed form and send it to chouse@sd25.org. Registration deadline is Friday, September 21.
