PTSA Awards Grants to Parkview Teachers
The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) provides grants to teachers to help fund their classrooms or clubs. We were thrilled with the number of responses we received for the grants this fall, and we hope to support even more teachers and clubs in the spring. This fall, we were able to award five different grants, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will have.
The winners are:
Carsen Pastirik, for her Speech Therapy Class Autism Program, $200 for the purchase of sensory materials for her students.
Kim Korth, for her Nature Club, $100, to purchase plants and butterflies for the garden
Alexandra Scott, $100, to help purchase tongs for the kiln in their ceramics class
Scott Hague, $150, for PHS Orchestra to purchase music
Marissa Yurko, $200, for National Arts Honors club to purchase a 3D printer (which will also benefit the ceramics club).

To ensure the safety and security of all individuals within the building, no hats, hoods, or headwear are allowed. This helps us to identify each person in the building if necessary. Additionally, blankets or pillows cannot be used during school hours. We ask that you wear an extra layer of clothing or bring a jacket for chilly mornings or classrooms. Remember, hats, hoods, headwear, blankets, and pillows are not allowed inside the building. Thank you for your cooperation.
