Our Week at Reutter School
Week of May 22, 2023
School Principal's Message
Reutter School Families:
Today, in accordance with state law, Reutter School conducted a security drill in the manner that we conduct all emergency drills, with seriousness and with sensitivity to our students and staff. Everyone responded appropriately and instruction resumed immediately thereafter.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As we approach the end of the academic year, our days are filled with a variety of different academic and extracurricular events. All together, this truly makes spring one of the most enjoyable and engaging times of the year.
Earlier this week all Reutter School students completed their NJSLA (state assessments). Thank you to all of the families who supported our school's fine and performing art program with their attendance at last week's Music Concert and Wednesday evening's Art Show. Both were amazing events that showcased the talents of our students. Next week, our Drama Club students will perform the musical "Dear Edwina, Jr.". Due to anticipated popularity of this event, we will be including a second showing of the school musical. The musical will now be performed on both May 24 and May 25 at 7 PM. There will be a special preview showing of the musical to all students the morning of May 23.
Please support the PTO as they are in the middle of their largest fundraiser of the year, the "PTO FUNdraiser". The funds collected will be used to continue the PTO's support of many school functions such as our dances, yearbook, and field days. Donations for the "PTO FUNdraiser" are requested to be submitted by Friday, May 19.
Reutter School is also actively collecting new, unopened boxes of Cereal as part of our "Cereal Box Challenge". Donations will be accepted until June 1.
Thank you for your continued support.
Educationally Yours,
Mr. Peters
Principal
