R10 Behavior Endorsement Course

This flyer contains key information for Region 10's new Behavior Endorsement online module training.

This course is designed to provide teachers tasked with supporting the mental and behavioral health needs of students. Participants will have the ability to build their skills on independently throughout the semester via an on demand course module series supplemented by in person training dates at the beginning and the end of the program.

The Behavior Endorsement program consists of 3 parts: an in person kick-off event, the on demand modules, and a 'graduation' day session.

In-Person Kick Off

The fall cohort will kick off with an in person training session. This session will include a breakdown of the course content and structure. We will work with everyone to get logged into the online program and demo how to navigate and operate the course. Attendance for both the beginning and ending in person sessions are required for completion of the program and earning your certificate.

On Demand Course Modules

Following attendance at the in person kick off session, you will be given access to the online module series for the program. These modules are a series of on demand courses designed to provide information and support with addressing the mental and behavioral health of students, along with additional resources for extending your learning and knowledge. These courses will be available from the kick-off until the day before the Graduation session date. All modules must be completed in order to be eligible to attend the closing session and be awarded a certificate.

The online modules will provide resources and information on the following topics:

• Classroom Environment
• Functions of Behaviors
• Data Collection and Analysis
• Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies
• Trauma Informed Practices
• Equitable Instruction
• Legal and Ethical Requirements

'Graduation' Session

The fall cohort will close with an in person training session. Attendance for both the beginning and ending in person sessions are required for completion of the program and earning your certificate.
