Greetings, Hopkins Elementary Families,
February is a month of love, and here at Hopkins Elementary School, we certainly love our students and families! Your partnership with us is invaluable, and we are committed to working together to ensure your child's success.
Interim Reports will be issued on Tuesday, February 6th. These reports will provide you with a snapshot of your child's progress so far this semester, allowing you to celebrate their achievements and address any areas that may need extra attention.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from February 20th to 29th. This is an essential opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress and review universal screening reports. These conferences are an excellent way to gain insight into your child's academic and social development and to collaborate with their teacher on strategies for continued success.
We encourage all parents to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with your child's teacher and support your child's educational journey. Your involvement is crucial to your child's academic growth, and we look forward to partnering with you during these conferences.

All SIC/PTO meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. Our next meeting will be held on January 7, 2023, @ 5:00pm. The meeting location is virtual on ZOOM (Meeting ID- 805-137-7207/Password- 210904)
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Fall Fundraiser. The fundraising items will be delivered for pick-up at Hopkins Elementary on December 6th. This year's fundraiser profited $5,660.40.
Welcome to the "Activities to Go" section of our newsletter! We believe active involvement in your child's education is critical to success. This section will share valuable tips, engaging videos, and activities focused on your child's reading and/or math skills.

***Parents Challenge- Hopkins' Hippos LOVE to read, write, and do math! Our students love to read, write, and do math daily at home and on the go. We want you to share your/their LOVE of literacy and math with us. Please snap a picture of you and your child(ren) reading, writing, and doing math. Share your photos to Facebook and be sure to tag Hopkins Elementary School. We will do several drawings on Valentine's Day, February 14th, to see who goes home with a few special prizes that we LOVE!***
