Student Deliveries
To maximize classroom time, follow these guidelines for delivering forgotten items during the school day:
Drop off forgotten items at the table near the Attendance Secretary's office, labeled with your student's name and grade.
Students can retrieve non-classroom items during lunch. Please note that only parents or guardians can deliver personal lunches to the Attendance office; we cannot accept deliveries from businesses or organizations.
Morning Drop Off - CHANGE
We are introducing a new morning drop-off procedure to prioritize student safety. This change aims to create a smoother and safer experience for everyone.
Enhanced Safety, Streamlined Experience:
Our goal is a safe and efficient morning drop-off. We're shifting from one lane to two lanes maximizing our drop-off space and streamlining the process for better results.
Double Blue Lane Process:
The drop-off lane has been adjusted to provide two distinct lanes within the blue-striped area. Students will be dropped off in the designated blue-striped drop-off area. In this zone, drivers should anticipate students walking through the center to reach the front crosswalk, where they will be assisted by the crossing guard for safe crossing.
Longer Stops and Trunk Use:
Please use the parking lot for longer stops or trunk access to avoid drop-off lane congestion. Students can safely cross using the marked crosswalk.
Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated as we implement these changes. Student safety is our priority; we're confident these adjustments will enhance our morning drop-off routine.
For questions or concerns, contact our administrative team.
Life Changes
"Change happens, like housing loss, homelessness, job challenges, and resource needs. If this applies to you, contact your District Liaison for support. We offer resources like a school pantry, clothes closet, hot meals program, parent resource nights, and more. Reach out to Promis Bruno, MSW, at 719-492-8810 or pbruno@ffc8.org for assistance."
