Because fundraising was so successful this year, PTO generously has purchased school supplies for next year so that every student comes ready to learn. We are so grateful for this partnership with them. Their generosity helps remove additional barriers for students and helps create a positive environment for all our students. Thank you to all the families who have supported their fundraisers through chocolate sales, pizza nights, and catalog sales to make this happen!

Did you know that your health services team is already planning for next year?

• If your child receives medication at school, medication-at-school orders must be signed by your medical provider dated June 1, 2022 or later for the upcoming school year.
• Documentation and medications for life threatening health conditions must be provided by September 6, 2022, in order for the student to attend school.
• If your child has a current IHP or a medication at school order, you will be receiving additional communication from your school health room.

We encourage you to make necessary medical appointments now so that you are prepared to send your child to school on the first day of the new school year.

READY! for Kindergarten is a free program that offers age-appropriate targets, training and tools for parents and caregivers of children birth to age five that ensure success in school. These classes are typically funded for school districts, foundations and community organizations.

Families who are new to Ready! For Kindergarten must attend a one time only orientation session prior to your registered age-level session

Session dates:

• Wednesday, May 25 @Maple Lawn Elementary

• Tuesday, May 31 @ Sumner Early Learning Center

• Tuesday, June 7 @ Donald Eismann Elementary

Time: All sessions are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Orientation (for first-time READY! for Kindergarten participants):

• 6:00-6:30pm prior to your age-level session

Do you know a child who will be five years old on or before August 31? Maybe it's your neighbor, friend or even your own child. Now’s the right time to enroll next year’s kindergarten students. The sooner you enroll, the better we can keep you informed and get prepared for your child to join us. • There has a close contact with anyone confirmed to have, or suspected to have COVID-19
• The Student has tested positive for, or is waiting on a test for COVID-19
• The student has been told to self isolate or quarantine by public health or a medical professional
• Any of these symptoms are present:

• Fever of 100.4 or higher

• Cough- frequent and persistent

• Loss of taste or smell

• Shortness of breath

• Fatigue

• Headache

• Muscle or body aches

• Sore throat

• Congestion or runny nose

• Nausea, diarrhea or vomiting
