Staffing Notice

Parents and students, please note that Mrs. Kozitzky will not be retuning to teach for the remainder of this school year. We have reassigned her classes to various teachers. The position is posted and will let you know who our new staff member will be ASAP. Please email the administration or call us if you have any questions or concerns. Students can still access their school work and it is is being marked by other teachers until we hire a new teacher. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the school admin and we will assist you promptly.

Hello from Mrs. Oikonen!

Welcome back! I hope you all enjoyed your Fall Break!

We had a wonderful Remembrance Day Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 2. Thank you to all of the students that drew thank you pictures for PTE Jesse Mallette. If you would still like to do one, please forward them to my email.

We have a full week this week. Grade 4, 5, and 6 will be doing a coding presentation on Tuesday.

Please note there will be no google meets on Thursday.

The SILC Centre is Open

Need some help with your courses? Need to write an exam? Want to come in and get post-secondary advice? You are WELCOME here.

SILC has it's own entrance on the East side of the building, main level; however, you can access us from the main doors as well. Students who are driving, feel free to park in the parking lot and let reception know you have parked there. Students taking Public Transportation, walk across from Bethel Transit Station and come on in!

The SILC Classroom (Centre) is open to student drop-in:

Monday - 8:30 - 3:30

Tuesday - 8:30 - 3:30

Wednesday - 8:30 - 3:30

Thursday - 8:30 - 3:30

Friday - 8:30 - 3:30 open teachers available by appointment

Feel free to join us for every first Friday of the Month at 8:30 am at OLPH Church for Rosary & Mass & Fellowship . We also use Fridays for Chester sessions, fieldtrips, exams, and team meetings.

November 15, 22, & 29th - Chesterton Live Math Session Math 30-2 @10:00 am and Math 30-1 @ 11:00 meet at the SILC Center
November 17 - Chesterton retreat at J.J Collett Natural Area in Lacombe County from 10AM-2PM

DECEMBER

December 7 Student Engagement Day 1to3 pm. Gingerbread House Building ... Prizes to be won
December 22 - last day before break
December 25 - January 5th Christmas Break
