Message from Mr. Kingery
Dear Art Rutkin Elementary Families,
We are excited to share that we had our first school-wide assembly today. Mrs. McKean, our music teacher, wrote our school song, and taught it to our students. The students did an amazing job of revealing the song to the staff all singing together. Our staff was so happy to finally hear the song for the first time. Mrs. McKean is such a gift to this new school community. Our staff will also be working with students to name our mascot starting next week. We will all be excited to give our Ram its official name.
We are continuing to learn about this new school community. Please take the time to complete the Art Rutkin Culture Survey to help us learn more about your family. Thank you for your time to complete this short survey.
Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
Please take the time to review the updated 2023-2024 Students Rights and Responsibilities Handbook. This handbook is found on the TTSD website under “Parents.” This directory has several links important for parents and guardians to be aware of. Please contact me with any questions regarding students rights and responsibilities while at school.
Kind Regards,
Mr. Kingery
Principal

Want to learn more about art?
We need volunteers for Art Lit! The time commitment is 2-4 hours per month and can be based on your availability. Volunteer facilitators give a preassigned presentation to a class and help them complete an art project. The more helpers we have in each classroom the better the experience for the students and volunteers. No experience or art abilities needed! Volunteers must be able to successfully complete a background check through the district. Please contact Leah Baldwin if you're interested: rutkinartlit@gmail.com.
