Please join us Tuesday, March 28th, on the Springdale Campus as we hear from guest speaker, Brian Mills. Brian has served as the senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Yukon, Oklahoma since 2019 and has been in vocational ministry since 1998. Before serving at Trinity, he was the college pastor at Cross Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Brian has also served as a youth pastor at several churches and as a church strategist with Student Leadership University. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University and his master’s degree at Liberty University. Brian is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Parker and McKenna.
Parenting can seem daunting at times. Bearing the responsibility of raising kids to become godly adults can feel overwhelming! What we often forget, however, is that God calls parents to be godly first. The apostle Paul reminded his young protege, Timothy, of this very truth regarding his pastoral responsibilities when he said, "Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness (1 Tim. 4:7).” In the same way, parents need to train themselves for godliness if they are going to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. To this end, Pastor Brian will equip parents with the wisdom and tools necessary to grow in Christlikeness and disciple their students according to God’s Word.
Dads: “Equipping the Saints” will be held in the CMR. Please enter through the SEC foyer glass doors on the north side of the building (the main gym entrance). We will have greeters waiting to direct you. Dads will meet from 6:45 am to 7:30 am.
