Bates Family Newsletter
October 22, 2021
Bates Community,
We hope everyone enjoyed the wonderful fall weather this week. Next week is already the last week of October. The first two months of schools have allowed us to identify each student's academic strengths and areas of growth across content areas. This data will allow us to provide instruction that best meets each student' academic profile. We look forward to seeing growth from all of our students, not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks!

SEF Fundraiser
Hello Families!
The Salem Education Foundation (SEF) is hosting their annual Food For Thought Raffle and we are looking for volunteers to staff the raffle cart which will be located this year on Salem Common.
The raffle winner receives round trip flights for two, two night’s accommodation, and a $250 gift card ($4,000 max) ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!
Did you know that the school who sells the most tickets gets the coveted first school spot in the 2022 Haunted Happening parade?
Did you know that after we sell 100 tickets (WE HAVE HIT THAT GOAL!) the PTO will make $1 for every ticket sold?
If you are willing to volunteer, please add your name to the sign- up sheet below. Each two hour shift REQUIRES two (18+) volunteers. We have some prime dates this year!
Grab a friend, get involved, and support our students!
Sunday, October 24th- Kiddie Carnival on the Common! Enjoy some people watching while supporting SEF and Bates PTO!
Saturday, October 30th- Doesn’t get more prime than this!
