Wildcat Weekly!
Dear Wildcats,
Tonight we have our Holiday Craft and Holiday Shopping Event! Information was sent previously. We can't wait to see you!
Last Friday we had a school wide assembly that was incredible! Our presenters took us on an amazing tour of Mexico and other cultures through song, language, dance, and stories. Students and staff were amazed by the performance!
Friday December 22 will be an early dismissal with the school day ending at 12:40 PM. There will be no school from December 23 to January 1 due to Winter Recess. Students return to school on January 2. Please enjoy this time with your friends and families.
Our Winter Spirit Week began today. Please see the themed dress days below:
December 18: Ugly Sweater Day
December 19: Baby Its Cold Outside: Wear Winter Gear
December 20: Wear Holiday Socks
December 21: Holiday Hat Day: Wear a Festival Hat

Big Brothers/Big Sisters is an ongoing program at our school that benefits so many students. The new day this program is meeting is on Mondays. Please see the fliers below if you would like your son or daughter to enroll in this outstanding program.
Please remember how important arrival times are. If you are dropping your students off in the back of the school at the beginning of the school day, please arrive at least 10 minutes before 8:40 AM so that we can be prompt with students entering the building on time and ready for instruction.
There were several exciting events this week where we opened up our school to our parents. The Kindergarten Winter Show phenomenal! Outstanding job by the students and teachers! We also held our Gingerbread House making STEAM activity with the 1st grade students and parents. Thank you all for your participation!
As always, check out some of our PBSIS winners this week...recognized for being responsible, respectful and safe.
Our attendance numbers from last year remain strong! Incentive awards were given out to lucky recipients today. Pictures upcoming!
Have a great weekend!

Donors
This week Walnut Street Elementary received an incredible donation from the Reynolds family in honor of their mother Margaret Reynolds. For years, Mrs. Reynolds was a Dover Township crossing guard who dutifully served our community. She recently passed away. Mr. William Reynolds presented us with a donation of $1,000 in their mother's name that will go to Walnut Street Elementary School families in need. All of us at Walnut Street Elementary thank you.

Mrs. Pedone received a "Let's Make Learning Fun" project for her classroom from Donors Choose. We would like to thank the following donors:
