The Week in Review
A busy week for sure! First grade went to Wonderfeet and Mindful Monkey, I will have to connect with a few photos to share.
Our Middle Level Learners traveled to OV to see Recycled Percussion with the rest of the RNESU Middle Schoolers. The show was fabulous, highlighting that we should embrace differences and that we should bet on ourselves.
MANY families visited during the PTOs Breakfast Social where our chorus performed two songs while community members had coffee and light snacks. Thank you Ashley Stevens and Courtney Forrest for organizing and to the families who visited. The children love showing off their classrooms.
Kinder hosted our Friday Morning Meeting and many families attended as well. They shared all of the things that they have learned and enjoyed about Kindergarten, sang a song and showed us a video of the class reading their favorite book about a pickle!
Memorial Day Observance-Friday, May 26 @ 8:05 AM
Each year Lothrop Learners recognize Memorial Day and our country's fallen heroes with an assembly, poetry and a visit to the cemtary next door to lay some flowers. If you have access to flowers in your yard we welcome a handful of lilacs or a couple of cut flowers. We begin our observance in the cemetery, lay flowers and then return to the gym for the remainder of our assembly.
Mrs. Allaire's 4th Grade Class will be hosting the assemlies. All Lothrop Families are welcome to attend.
