Heights High School Bowling Team

The Heights bowling team finished the season this past week beating Northwest and West by only 12 pins. This puts both the varsity and Junior varsity boys teams in first place going into city league this coming Thursday.


The varsity has also placed 2nd out of 30 teams and 3rd out of 32 teams this year. Junior Tai Level has placed 1st individually at all of the city league matches as well.

Event Information

ACT Testing Day - Junior Students

Wednesday, February 28th will be a Junior only ACT Testing Day. Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors will not be in attendance. Juniors will be testing from 8:00 - 12:30 and receive a Grab and Go Lunch and be released. Students will not be admitted once testing has begun. Students will need to bring their school issued computer, computer charger, and a calculator for this exam.

T-Shirt Design Contest

BOOSTER CLUB IS HAVING A T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

DESIGN A T-SHIRT USING THE “WH logo”

Winner will receive a free T-Shirt with their design and $20.00 in Nest Bucks!

2nd place will receive $10.00 in Nest Bucks!

RULES:

1. Incorporate the WH

2. No using other people’s work, design must be original

3. Design on a Black, Red, or Grey shirt

4. Form filled out with DESIGN uploaded

5. Complete Form by March 19th 2024

Fallen Falcon Veterans Memorial Fundraiser
Wichita Heights High School is raising the $195,000 to complete the "Fallen Falcon Veteran Memorial and Gold Star Family Pavilion."

Fallen Falcon Veteran Memorial

Three sided memorial with 25ft American Flag. Side 1, names of our Fallen Alumni, Side 2, sculpture relief, and Side 3, poem.

Gold Star Family Pavilion

Students exiting the school on the north side of the property will walk past the memorial and 6 branch flags to get to the Gold Star Family Pavilion. The Gold Star Family Pavilion is an outdoor classroom as well as a place for the community to use when school is not in session.

The American Flag will stand proudly as it is metaphorically and literally being held up by the brave Alumni that paid the ultimate price for our Country.
