We see a lot of students using the hand sanitizing stations, which is great, and for kiddos who have stayed home due to sickness- thank you for being proactive. Staying home when sick is the best way to defeat the spread.

Open House- September 29th, 4-6 PM

No School- October 6th and 7th

Weekend in the Islands- October 8th-9th. October 8th, only, for GIS. GIS is a donation spot for socks and school snacks. The PTA is raffling off two gifts donated by the community as well! There will be some activity stations, and we look forward to connecting with the community!

26th- Home vs. Fairfield, Girls @ 4:30, Boys- Scrimmage with the GI Rec. 3-4 team

27th- Boys & Girls Practice - @ 3:30-5

28th- Away @ St. Albans City, Boys and Girls @ 4:30

When students were asked what they wanted to know about Ms. Krista and Ms. Shannon, they came up with the following questions!

1. What is your favorite vacation spot? My favorite vacation spot is Maine. I love visiting the ocean and enjoying a fresh Maine lobster roll.
   

2. Do you like the feeling of grass in between your toes? Yes, I spend a lot of time at home outside with no shoes on.

3. What is your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is probably Halloween. I love that people can dress up and be something completely different from who they are!

4. What is your favorite thing to eat? My favorite food to eat is Chinese food and Lobster.

5. Why do you enjoy working in a school? I love working at GIS because of the children and staff. Everyone is so kind, friendly, and encouraging!

5. Why do you enjoy working in a school? I enjoy the students! They are my favorite part of my job!
