Representatives from Fort Bend ISD and local area business will be providing a brief description and participation information for various opportunities offered to students outside of school.
Registration Deadline: Monday, October 3, 2022
Lunch and Learn events are for parents and guardians only. This session is intended for parents of students in Grades K-12, but all parents are invited.

Gifted Speaker Series: The Gifted Twice Exceptional (2e) Learner
This is a free event but participants must register. See the registration button below.
Stefanie McKoy (University of Arkansas Ph. D. Student, Graduate Assistant Curriculum and Instruction; College of Education and Health Professions) and Krystle Merry (University of Arkansas Ph. D. student, Special Education Curriculum and Instruction; College of Education and Health Professions) will share information regarding the qualities of twice exceptional gifted children. Teachers and caregivers will add resources to their toolbox to assist 2e students to succeed in the classroom and through adolescence.

Fall Family Series Challenge - October/November 2022
OPEN TO GRADES 1-12!
"THE WORLD AROUND US" challenge allows gifted students the opportunity to use their creativity and thinking skills to develop a product of interest. Options include creating a leaf structure, building a device that can do 3 different creative things, or committing to building a culture of kindness with family, friends, and/or teachers! Registration dates are October 1 - 14, 2022, and video submissions are due by November 14, 2022 for upload onto the GT YouTube Channel. GT Parent Advisory Committee (GT PAC) News
There was a total of 64 participants representing various campuses in FBISD at the GT PAC's first meeting of the year! The GT PAC is still looking for representatives for most campuses. If you are interested in representing your child's campus by joining the GT PAC, please take a moment to complete the GT PAC Interest Form. The GT PAC offers an opportunity for parents to serve as liaisons between the GT Department and the campus.
ASE, BBE, CWE, HE, LVE, CVME, PE, SOE, SWE, SCE, QVMS, CHS, DHS have met the maximum number of parent representatives.

GT Learning Plan - October
The GT Learning Plan is in place for all elementary students, 6th graders, and 9th graders for the 2022-2023 school year. CMS, FSMS, and SMS will also include 7th graders, and AHS, BHS, and THS will also include 10th graders.

The GT PAC Parent Symposium is coming soon! This annual online event is scheduled to take place in November. This is an event hosted by GT parents for GT parents. We would love for you to join us this year! More details will be shared soon.

Its audio engineers have expansive knowledge and experience with all types of recording situations, including recording bands/solo projects for demos and albums, as well as providing advertising consulting to many local businesses and corporations. There isn't one definite way to record audio - it's more of a science. Let's create together.
