The Norcross Cluster (District V) board meeting is October 5 @ McClure Health Science HS

This fall, the Gwinnett County Board of Education will go on the road, meeting once in each Board member’s district. At this year’s Area Board Meetings attendees will have the opportunity to meet Gwinnett County Public Schools’ new superintendent, Dr. Calvin J. Watts, and members of the Gwinnett County Board of Education. During the meeting, Dr. Watts will share information about the new school year and his focus as he begins leading Georgia’s largest school district. In addition, meeting participants will learn more about the district’s work to engage the community and will be able to provide input through an online survey to share topics that are of interest to them.

ALL students should be getting to 20% progress on Khan Academy as their Math homework. The work can be completed by phone or computer. We have incentives for students who can get to 20% by the end of the month!

Remind your child to be working on their Khan Academy Math progress. 20% complete by the end of September.

Seventh grade students received a letter this week regarding a classroom lesson that they will participate in during the month of October called Lifelines. This is a lesson that is presented to all 7th grader in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Please ask your child to show you the letter. If you wish for your child NOT to participate, please sign the letter, and have your child bring it back to school by Monday, September 27, 2021.
