Chromebook Contract Information
Please return the half-slip signed by student and parent/guardian ASAP!
A district-wide Chromebook Contract was sent home this week. Every classroom has a full set of chromebooks, and students will be using them throughout the year. Students and parents need to sign this contract, to help ensure responsible and respectful behavior. The contract is not specific to only the elementary level, as students will not be taking home chromebooks. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Mrs. Wagner at wagnerc@colton.k12.or.us
Please note: Since our elementary students don't take chromebooks home, insurance is not necessary.
Student Medications
Student medications need to be transported by an adult to and from school. If you have a student that will need to take medication at school, please contact the office at (503)824-3536. Thank you!

OBOB - Oregon Battle of the Books (3rd, 4th & 5th Grades)
Deadline to Join
Thursday, September 28th
What is OBOB?
The Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program sponsored by the Oregon Association of School Libraries in conjunction with a Library Services and Technology Act grant.
Participating students, regardless of ability, are exposed to quality literature (16 books) representing a variety of literary styles and viewpoints. These books are chosen by a statewide OBOB committee, not our school. OBOB’s mission is to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading, to broaden reading interests, to increase reading comprehension, promote academic excellence, and to promote cooperative learning and teamwork among students.
Students will need to finish (read or listen to) at least 4 of 16 books by February 1st, 2024.
Students will be put on teams and battle each other, seeing who can answer the most questions about the 16 books in a BATTLE!
